Rita Kaye Coonfield "Frederick"
 
  Funeral services for Rita Kaye Frederick, 57, of Owasso were Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at the First Christian Church of Owasso with the Rev. Ben Killion officiating.

Committal and interment services followed at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow. Services and arrangements were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.

Frederick was born Feb. 6, 1949 to Robert Oliver and Nadine Muriel (Smith) Coonfield. She died Friday, March 17, 2006 in Tulsa.

She graduated with the Will Rogers High School class of 1967. She completed her education at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.
She married Jerome Frederick on June 6, 1970 in Owasso.

She spent most of her working life as a supervisor in the family division of the Tulsa County Court Clerks Office.

She was a longtime faithful member of First Christian Church of Owasso. She enjoyed photography, fishing, shopping and traveling. She loved spending time with her family, especially watching her grandsons play sports, and listening to her son perform music.

Survivors include her husband, Jerome, of the home; one daughter, Lori Burd and husband, Keith, of Owasso; one son, Jared Frederick of Tulsa; three grandsons, Jesse, Jake and Jantzen Burd; one brother, Bobby Coonfield and wife, Laurel, of Owasso; and her mother, Nadine Coonfield of Owasso.

Serving as casket bearers were Mike Palmer, Rex Crumpton, Rex Green, Jeff Barham, Charlie Garcia and Jim Smith. Serving as honorary casket bearers were David Blackburn, Danny Stout, Fred Kissinger, Larry Kornegay, James Hert, Manuel Peeples, Jason Jones, Marty Inman, Jim Stotts and Sam McCullough.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund, 12200 E. 86th St. N., Owasso, Okla., 74055.
